Welcome to the official Colonel Gray Music Department website! This organization is currently under the direction of  Roger Jabbour who conducts the Grade 10 and Senior Concert Bands as well as the Senior Jazz Band. We are also pleased and lucky to have Shawn Doiron who directs the Intermediate Jazz Band and assists with music program operation. 

This website was launched in May 2010. We hope that it can serve three roles: notification about the department's performances and news, information and utilities for students, and a distribution platform for archived and current recordings, pictures, and videos of the music program's legacy.

Breaking news;

Music Departement Craft Fair is a huge success! Band Parents and students thrilled with weekend. Great weather and great crowds. Exhibitors were delighted with sales and very impressed with our students. Fudge sale was awesome too!

We now have our Rhythm and Blues Band up and running. We had quite a number of singers, horn players and rhythm players audition.

Mr. Doiron and Mr. Jabbour are coaching this group after school on Tuesdays.

We are aiming to have our first performance at the Music Dept. Christmas concert on Decembr 13th.

We also have an exciting new percussion ensemble. This group not only has percussionists involved but many horn players who want to try their hand at percussion. Everyone is having a lot of fun to date.

Mr. Doiron is coaching this group friday after school every week.
